Find their next move.

Start with age, style, or pathway—each choice takes you to the most relevant program. Not sure? Come watch a class; the door’s open.

Not sure where to begin? Most ages 3–5 start with TINYZ; acro-curious dancers start with TUMBLERZ.

—  ONE STUDIO, MULTIPLE AMBITIONS

Big energy.
Clear pathways.

From a dancer’s first class to focused stage training, every program has a clear purpose and a place to grow.

Recreational Programs

Weekly classes for ages 3–19 — low pressure, high joy, real progress.

Competitive Teams

Company GEN 3–6. Focused training for dancers ready to be pushed. By invite or audition.

Afro-Carib

West African and Caribbean folk movement — culture, drums and storytelling. Ages 9+.
Every pathway shares the same foundation: joy, discipline and performance-ready training — pick the pace that fits your dancer today, and change lanes as they grow.

Hip-Hop

Foundations, freestyle and culture — from first bounce to battle-ready. All levels.

Acro Levels 1–3

Progressive tumbling, flexibility and strength — from Tumblerz to advanced lines.
Mwendo
“Mwendo” means motion — the movement in dance, and the forward motion we help every young artist create.
SWAHILI · THE NAME WE DANCE BY
—  REAL SKILLS, RAISED RIGHT

Strong dancers.

Parents aren’t just booking a weekly class — they’re investing in how a young person carries themselves.

Technique

Safe, structured progressions taught by working artists — habits that hold up anywhere.
03

A studio family — wins are celebrated loudly and every dancer is known.
—  FOUNDER STORY

Created to keep the joy of dance moving forward.

“The goal is a studio where dancers feel welcomed while they excel in technique, artistry and performance.”
TAMU BEATRICE — FOUNDER, DIRECTOR & HEAD TEACHER
Founded in 2011 by three dancers who refused to let the joy of performing end, Mwendo has grown into a Scarborough home for young artists. Tamu has danced for over two decades — trained in ballet, West African and Caribbean folk, touring with performing arts company Tc3 and earning her BFA at OCAD U. Her students have gone on to arts schools, music videos, festivals and concert stages.
—  PLAN THE SEASON

Schedule, fees and forms in one place.

No digging through message threads. The current season’s timetable, class legend, fees, registration and payment all live on one page — updated each term.
CURRENT SCHEDULE — SZN 15, TERM 1
